BELGIUM: Covenant of Mayors Webinar on Local Energy Data Collection for GHG Inventories
On Monday 26 October 2015, 11:00-12:30
The Covenant of Mayors Office is organising a webinar on ‘Data Collection for Greenhouse Gas Inventories’. This online event – specifically targeting local authorities in Belgium – will inform participants about energy data collection practices in Belgium and provide practical advice on energy data gathering and processing for the purposes of establishing an Emissions Inventory (BEI/MEI) as part of a Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP).
The webinar, co-organised with ICLEI Europe, will notably draw on the outcomes and learnings from some EU-funded projects such as MESHARTILITY and SEAP+. It will present good practice examples and tips on how to overcome barriers in local energy data collection.
