Consultation of Local & Regional Authorities: European Earth Observation topics of interest?

Energee-Watch

NEREUS, the network of European Regions Using Space Technologies,  jointly with the European Space Agency, would like to better identify the needs of local and regional authorities (LRAs) when using Copernicus (formerly GMES): the European Earth Observation Programme.

While delivering satellite-based services and information on the state of our environment and security purposes, it contributes to better informed decision making, long-term planning, effective deployment of resources and thus more efficient public spending.

The 3-minute online consultation is specifically targeting Local and Regional administrations (LRAs, local and regional authorities’ senior managers and or key persons responsible for a specific area within the territory administrations) in order to identify their needs in Copernicus applications and services. They are asked to choose among 12 domain of applications the 3 that they feel are the most relevant to support their task as territories’ managers.
