Energy Saving Tool
The Energy Savings Tool is an online tool that helps people make energy-efficient and economical choices at home.
The tool offers a range of functions to calculate potential energy savings and is a useful support for Cypriot households to reduce both their energy consumption and their bills.
The tool consists on a main menu which displays 4 options: Building Energy Upgrade, RES, Electrical appliances and car.
Taking Building Energy Upgrade as an example, a person is able to insert several data connected to their home. This will result in a set of tailored recommendations for better use of the home appliances, systems and for the building shell itself.
The online tool is part of a project to strengthen the implementation of the European Energy Efficiency Directive in Cyprus. The project is being implemented by the Austrian Environmental Bureau in cooperation with the EUSR and the EAC and is funded by the European Commission’s Structural Reform Support Office.
The tool is available at energysavingstool.cea.org.cy Discover it Now!
