The Energy and Environmental Observatory of Liguria Region was created in 1997 to prepare the inventory of polluting emissions. Today it’s extended to numerous environmental data and indicators.
Monitoring covers energy consumptions and production, energetic and non-energetic GHG emissions and air quality.
The data and indicators coming from the Regional Observatory support the Regional policy on energy and climate change and they are also relevant to the evaluation of pressure on other environmental media (water and waste).

Observatory – Technical Chamber of Greece Energy Observatory

Municipalities have limited or no access to energy consumption data of public buildings, public lighting, transport, the residential and tertiary sector, as well as energy produced from renewable energy sources. Data from these sectors are essential, especially in energy planning.

IEA – Energy Statistics Course attendees hail from 25 member and non-member countries

The tenth IEA Energy Statistics Course opened on 12 October 2015, drawing 28 statisticians from 25 countries for a week of intense training in IEA tools and methods to develop and maintain complete and accurate national energy datasets.
