Opening convention of the Green City Energy ONtheSEA International Forum: ClimactRegions Workshop and “From Smart City to Smart Community” Conference
From the 29th to the 30th of November 2012 the City of Genoa will host the “opening convention” of the Second Edition of the Green City Energy ONtheSEA International Forum, on the smart energies and the sustainable development of the city and the port.
The forum has the objective to give concrete answers to operators and users, showing what are the developments and the advantages deriving from the sustainable choices and by the new environmental policies adopted by the cities, both in the national than in the international area. Great attention will give to the development of the smart cities and the innovation technologies and the systems for energetic efficiency and saving in the urban area, with a particular attention to the marine cities that have ports.
The Green City Energy International Forum past editions has registered a great success with more than 200 speakers and more than 3000 visitors.
Within the opening convention the 29th of November will take place the workshop: “ClimactRegions Project” which will focus on the regional and local policies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the Covenant of Mayors and some examples of concrete actions of Ligurian Municipalities.

– Governmental actions and plans, National policies by Ministry of Economic Development and Ministry of Environment
– Overview on National and European tenders
