The Local Energy and Climate Agency – Control Your Energy (ALEC-MVE) is a non-profit association, created in 1999 by the cities of Montreuil and Vincennes with the support of the European Commission, within the framework of the SAVE II program, and of ADEME, ARENE and CLER.

Its purpose is to provide support for ecological transition, reduction and control of energy consumption, the fight against energy poverty and the promotion of the production and use of renewable energies. The Agency thus participates in the thinking and taking the necessary decisions in view of the fight against greenhouse gas emissions and global warming.
