Energiaklub has remained true to its unique mission, having spent close to 30 years creating a new awareness in Hungary. With its research, training courses, and wide-reaching communication, Energiaklub’s aim is to make energy producers, users and perhaps even political decision-makers regard energy in a different way. Rational use of its dwindling resources, an economy based on diverse local resources, a change in energy-wasting consumer habits; are all part of the solutions which Energiaklub supports through its work.

Its many dozens of successful projects and related publications and studies are characterised by scientific precision, clarity and focus on practical questions. While retaining a sense of the common interest, Energiaklub impartially synthesizes the newest international results, working together with the most significant European organisations and institutions. The institute’s work concentrates on energy efficiency, renewable resources, climate protection, conventional energy resources and energy policy.
