Workshop TerriSTORY – the tool for managing the transition of territories

In April one of the workshops proposed to the public by the French Network of Regional Energy and Environment Agencies (RARE) focused on the TerriSTORY® platform.

TerriSTORY® is a partnership web tool to help manage the energy transition of territories, initiated by Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Energy Environment Agency (AURA-EE), co-constructed with the territories and supported by a consortium of around twenty national or regional players, with a mission to public service or general interest.

With an interactive visualization interface for multi-thematic opendata data (energy, climate, mobility, economy etc.), TerriSTORY® facilitates the understanding of its territory, the identification of assets and priority action levers. The tool makes it possible to simulate prospective scenarios and to measure their socio-economic and environmental impacts to build a territorial trajectory commensurate with the challenges and objectives. Designed as a pedagogical support, it makes it possible to engage in a multi-actor dialogue within a territory and between territories.

The various partners, regional or national, around TerriSTORY® make it possible to quickly develop the tool to adapt as much as possible to the needs of the territories. The workshop illustrates on the theme of mobility, how the partnership dynamic has made it possible to gradually structure the development of a “mobility component”, from the first reflections within communities in 2018/2019, towards a national dynamic of a digital “common”, supported by the National Agency for Ecological Transition (ADEME).

The platform can be accessed at terristory.fr.
