ClimactRegions Project-Manual: “Dedicated Modes of Governance” adapted to the regional context of the Partners

Manual on: Dedicated Modes of Governance

Mitigation of climate change often involves complex and controversial solutions (changes in land use, access to and shared use of resources, etc.) requiring the involvement of multiple players at different levels. They reveal gaps relating to traditional government institutions and to areas of intervention of public policies.

Governance processes are designed to provide support, expertise, and advocacy for the design and joint execution of environmental policies. They offer the possible involvement of a variety of players at different levels, the opportunity to assist in defining and implementing a collective project through an open process of interaction and cooperation.

The Manual is available in English and French
